The area has more than 20 kilómeters of sheltered beaches, the most beautiful in Lima.
This wetland covers an area of 690 hectares, and includes two large lagoons. This reserve has the greatest biodiversity of the central coast of Peru. It houses 125 species of birds, including migrants and residents, even some species in danger of extinction. It is a very popular place for bird watching.
Bandurria is the oldest monumental complex in Peru and America. It’s more than 5000 years old. It is located at Km. 141 of the Panamericana Norte highway, in Huacho. It is part of the environment of the southern lagoon of El Paraíso Wetland.
A few minutes from the “Prados de Paraíso” project is located the Huaura Islands (Huampanú, Loberas and Mazorca) that are part of the National Reserve «Sistema de Islas, Islotes y Puntas Guaneras». It’s a natural show, home to a large population of guano birds, sea lions and Humboldt penguins.
